‘’My name is Martina Sobková – I am a business journalist, model and activist, but also a woman who had to fight hard to be herself. In life I dedicate my energy to projects supporting transgender women and young girls to feel beautiful and confident. In my free time, I play table tennis, which gives me discipline and joy.

My best quality is perseverance – I never give up, even when the path is hard. My biggest flaw is that I can sometimes be too self-critical.

Who inspired you in your life / career?

My biggest inspiration was not one person, but all the women who dared to live authentically before me. They showed me that even when society doubts you, you can rise and create your own path.

The most defining moment was my transition. It cost me relationships, opportunities, and years of struggle, but it also gave me freedom, authenticity, and strength. Without that step, I would not be here today.

Happiness for me is not perfection, but freedom – to wake up every day and live as the woman I truly am, surrounded by people who accept me.

A phrase or quote you will never forget, and why

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” It reminds me that authenticity is stronger than any mask.

How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?

It is an honor. For me, being here means showing not only beauty but also diversity – proving that every woman, regardless of her story, deserves a place on this stage.

Fashion is more than clothes – it is self-expression. For me, it is also empowerment. It gave me the chance to embrace my femininity and to inspire others to do the same.

How do you see yourself in ten years?

In ten years, I see myself as a woman who has used her voice and visibility to make real change – in modeling, in activism, and in inspiring younger generations.

My wish would be that every young transgender girl could grow up without fear, with the same opportunities and love as anyone else.’’
