Hello everyone! I am Karyna Arslan ,represent Turkey.
I’m Ukrainian, but for the past three years, I’ve been living in Istanbul, Turkey, where my family, home, friends, and work are now based. I’m married and have a one-year-old child. I hold a degree in translation and Turkish language teaching, and currently, my team and I are working on developing a mobile application for language learning.
As for my hobbies, I love traveling, though I still haven’t decided whether I prefer summer or winter vacations. I’m a Libra😁. I enjoy creating photo and video content, savoring delicious food, and dancing. I’m a versatile person, but sometimes, I find it exhausting.
– Who inspired you in your life / career?
I inspire myself. Every day, I strive to do something that makes me better than I was yesterday.
– Is there in particular an event or something in your life that has marked you?
Yes, there are two significant events that have marked my life. First, the war. It changed my perspective on the world, and I began to appreciate my loved ones and everything I have much more. The second was moving to Turkey three years ago. I love Kyiv deeply, and it was incredibly difficult to completely change my life, but now I am happy.
– What is happiness for you?
Happiness, for me, is a sense of security, freedom, love, and feeling significant in the world.
I am incredibly happy to be here, and it’s hard to fully express all the emotions I’m feeling in words. I’m extremely grateful for the invitation to participate in Miss Europe Continental and the opportunity to represent Turkey. I’m confident that this experience will be life-changing for me, and I look forward to what the future holds after the competition.
Absolutely, fashion serves as a universal language, allowing people to express their individuality through clothing, accessories, and makeup. It’s a powerful form of communication that transcends borders and unites billions by creating shared trends, values, and experiences, all while allowing for personal expression.
– If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?
My wish would be for the war to end.
