As the representative of Austria at Miss Europe Continental 2025, she brings not only outer beauty but also depth, passion, and determination. In this exclusive interview, she talks about her roots, her dream of becoming a model, and her vision for the future.
My name is Anna Galina Encke, I am 33 years old, and I represent Austria at the Miss Europe Continental 2025 competition. I live in the beautiful town of Pinneberg in Schleswig-Holstein, a peaceful place that gives me a lot of strength and inspiration.
-Can you tell us something about your childhood and the place where you grew up?
I grew up in a loving family that taught me many values – togetherness, gratitude, and the importance of dreams. My childhood was shaped by creativity and curiosity. I loved playing outside in nature, dancing, and flipping through fashion magazines from an early age. That time shaped me deeply and taught me how important it is to believe in yourself.
-How has this time shaped the way you see the world?
It taught me that you can achieve anything if you believe in yourself and are willing to work hard. I learned to see beauty not only on the outside but also in diversity, character, and human connection. This openness continues to shape my life and my work today.
-What brings you joy in your everyday life?
I love inspiring people and encouraging them to pursue their own dreams. Spending time with my family and friends fulfills me, as does traveling and discovering new cultures. I also find great joy in expressing myself creatively – whether through fashion, photography, or simply through small, mindful moments in everyday life.
-When did you realize you wanted to work in the fashion industry?
My dream of becoming a model began when I was 14 years old. I was fascinated by the world of fashion – the runways, the photography, and the expressive power that clothing and posture can convey. Since then, I have never let go of this dream – and today, many years later, it fills me with pride to live it actively and pursue it further.
-In your opinion, what are the most important qualities for a model today – beyond physical appearance?
A successful model needs more than just good looks. Self-confidence, discipline, authenticity, and charisma are essential. It’s about telling stories and conveying emotions. Professionalism and respect when working with others are just as important as the ability to stay true to yourself.
-Do you have a fashion icon or an inspiring figure you particularly admire?
I admire many strong women who have followed their own path – not only in fashion but also in life. I find personalities who work with passion and heart while remaining authentic especially inspiring. They show that with dedication and courage, anything is possible.
-How are you preparing – mentally and physically – for the challenge of Miss Europe Continental?
I pay close attention to a healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise. Just as important to me is mental preparation: I meditate, practice mindfulness, and work on strengthening my inner balance. This balance gives me strength and calmness, helping me stand confidently on stage and face every challenge.
-What do you hope to prove, to yourself and to others, by taking part in Miss Europe Continental?
I want to show that it’s never too late to make your dreams come true. No matter how many obstacles you encounter, with passion, perseverance, and self-confidence, you can achieve anything. I hope to inspire other women to believe in their goals and follow their own path as well.
– How do you envision your future in the next five years? What is the goal you dream of achieving?
My biggest dream is to expand my modeling career not only in Germany but also internationally. I want to walk the world’s great runways, collaborate with inspiring people, and be a role model for others. At the same time, I wish to continue growing personally and to realize projects that connect and inspire people.
