’My name is Sophie Mariani, and I am 29 years old. I was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Although I spent part of my childhood in Verona, Italy—where my father, originally from Monza, comes from—I was primarily raised in Dresden. I currently reside in Leipzig. It is both an honor and a privilege to represent Liechtenstein.

I am self-employed and run a larger company that I manage and handle. On the side, I work as a model and occasionally take part in TV series or films when my schedule allows. I thrive on new challenges every day, enjoy staying active, and prioritize healthy nutrition and positive company. Many would say I am a natural organizer who always finds solutions and achieves my goals. A flaw of mine is that I can be quite stubborn at times and sometimes overly ambitious.
My own life experiences have inspired me to push forward, learn from challenges, and strive to make a positive impact on others. Additionally, the people who show courage, kindness, and authenticity every day—my family, friends, and even strangers—motivate me to keep growing and to use my platform to empower others. Especially my mother and my fiancé, who have always been there for me and supported me unconditionally. Their example reminds me that true leadership is rooted in empathy and the desire to uplift those around us.

– Is there in particular an event or something in your life that has marked you?

In my younger years, I faced serious illness and also encountered at a later time very narcissistic personalities, which shaped me. These experiences reinforced qualities I’ve always valued, like kindness to all beings, and made me even clearer about what I want in life — to live healthily and treat others with respect and compassion. They taught me to walk through life with confidence and strength, and inspired me to encourage others who are going through similar difficult times. Today, my goal is to help people find themselves and heal, using my own journey as a source of support and hope.

– What is happiness for you?

To me, happiness means having the freedom to shape my life as I desire, but above all, it means having the precious gift of time—time for myself, time for the people I love, and time to pursue what truly fulfills me. In today’s fast-paced world, where every moment seems fleeting, being able to slow down and savor life’s simple joys, especially in nature.

– What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?

You can achieve anything you can imagine—nothing can stand in your way.
When it comes to decisions and advice, remember this: everyone only suggests what they themselves dare to pursue, and their guidance is shaped by their own experiences – so trust yourself above all.

– How do you feel about being here at Miss Europe Continental?

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work with exceptional photographers, but being part of Miss Europe Continental is a truly special experience for me, and I feel deeply honored to have been selected. Having lived in different countries and with a strong love for Italy—my father’s homeland—I genuinely appreciate the beauty of diverse cultures coming together. This opportunity fills me with pride and gratitude to represent Liechtenstein and share my unique story. I feel inspired, empowered, and ready to embrace every moment of this remarkable journey here in Napoli.
Fashion is more than just style — it reflects who I am and the values I stand for. For me, fashion is a powerful way to express my individuality and creativity. It’s not just about what you wear, but how it makes you feel inside: confident, free, and authentic. It allows me to share my unique story without words, and empowers me to show my true self while honoring the diversity and cultures that inspire me. In ten years, I see myself leading my company with confidence and purpose, continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I want to use my experience and platform to inspire others, especially young women, to embrace their unique stories and pursue their dreams fearlessly. I also hope to contribute to causes close to my heart, like animal welfare, while maintaining a balanced, healthy, and meaningful life. Above all, I aspire to be remembered not just for my successes, but for the positive impact I’ve made on people’s lives and the world around me.

– If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?

It would be a world without animal cruelty, where all living beings are treated with kindness and respect. I wish for peace to prevail everywhere, with no more wars, for nature to be restored and preserved in harmony, and for all children to be protected and cared for with love and dignity, because they truly deserve it. A world like this would be a true blessing for future generations.’’
