Hello everyone, my name is Marija Djordjevic. I am 30 years old and I proudly represent the beautiful country of Serbia at Miss Europe Continental. I live in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia, known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and warm-hearted people
– Can you tell us something about yourself and how your career in fashion began?
I’ve been involved in sports my entire life – it’s a part of who I am, and I truly can’t imagine my life without it. I started my modeling career 13 years ago as a fitness model, which came naturally since I was a professional athlete, specializing in sprinting. That experience opened the door to fitness photoshoots, and over time, my career evolved into beauty and fashion modeling. Each step felt like a natural progression, and I’m grateful for the journey that brought me her.
– What has been the most exciting moment of your career so far?
The most exciting moment in my career so far was being chosen to represent Serbia at the Miss Europe Continental competition. That moment confirmed to me that hard work, dedication, and persistence truly pay off. I felt incredibly proud and emotional, knowing I will have the opportunity to represent not only myself, but also my country. I’m also looking forward to meeting amazing, inspiring women from all over the world, an experience that I know will bring new friendships and unforgettable memories.
– Speaking of aesthetics, how would you describe Serbian beauty?
The beauty of Serbia is unique and diverse, just like its people. It is not only in physical appearance but also in the warmth, kindness, and strength of character that Serbs possess. Our beauty comes from nature, tradition, and rich culture, as well as from inner energy and pride. I believe true beauty lies in the combination of authenticity and self-confidence.
– How are you preparing for Miss Europe Continental?
I am preparing for Miss Europe Continental very thoroughly and dedicatedly. I train regularly to be in my best physical shape, work on my appearance and style, but I also focus on nurturing inner strength and self-confidence. Additionally, I pay attention to education and preparation for various interviews and performances because I want to represent myself and Serbia in the best possible way
– Is there anyone who inspires you or has particularly supported you on this journey?
Yes, my family is my greatest support and inspiration on this journey. They are always by my side, giving me love, motivation, and strength to fight for my dreams. Besides them, I am also inspired by successful people from the world of fashion and sports who have shown by their example how important persistence and hard work are.
– Do you think your participation can inspire other girls in Serbia? What advice would you give to those who dream of pursuing a career in the fashion world?
I believe that my participation can inspire other girls in Serbia. I want to show that with hard work, dedication, and self-belief, it is possible to achieve your dreams, no matter where you come from. My advice to those who dream of a career in the fashion world is to be persistent, never give up, and work on their self-confidence. It’s important to be authentic and believe in their uniqueness.
– Do you always see yourself in the fashion world, or would you like to explore other fields such as cinema, entrepreneurship or design?
Although fashion is my great passion and I see myself in this world, I had the opportunity to take a role in a TV series a few years ago, but at that moment, I did not accept the offer. I believe the opportunity will come again and doors will open. However, I think it is important to have a broad perspective and follow different interests, because every new challenge brings the possibility for personal and professional growth.
– How do you imagine yourself in ten years?
In ten years, I see myself as a successful and fulfilled person, both professionally and personally. I hope to continue growing in the fashion world, exploring new fields and challenges. I would also like to start my own family and have three sons, which is a big wish of mine. It is important for me to stay connected with my family and friends, and to inspire others by my example.
