Gala Luna: Beauty and Sustainability from Mexico to the World

2.You’ve walked in fashion weeks and posed. What has been your most memorable moment so far on the runway or in front of the camera?

Every photoshoot and runway, whether local or international, has left a mark on me. In each opportunity, I give my very best and embrace every lesson, because I believe that each experience shapes and strengthens me as a professional. My greatest passion is to add value to the brands, designers, and artists I work with—and every project allows me to grow and refine my path.

3.You’re not just a model, you’re also an artist. What inspires your artistic creations?

Love for life is my greatest source of inspiration.

I’m fascinated by the beauty of human existence, by how simple it is to live, and how we often seek intense emotions or fleeting adventures that become unforgettable memories. I truly believe art is an invaluable heritage of humanity—a timeless form of expression that connects us to thousands of years of creation.

  1. As a coach for professional models, what is the most important lesson you teach young women starting in this industry?

Self-confidence is the foundation of everything I teach. Beyond preparing them for the runway or a photoshoot, my true purpose is to empower them for life—to help them face challenges with authenticity and inner strength. Real beauty always begins within.

  1. How do you balance being both a model and a mentor?

It’s been a challenge, because sometimes it feels like I must choose one or the other. But I deeply love both roles—being a coach and being a model. Every class I teach is also an opportunity for me to learn and evolve. This dual path has allowed me to be more intentional in choosing modeling projects I’m truly passionate about, and to share my journey with the next generation.

6.You’ve recently launched a fashion brand using recycled materials. What inspired this sustainable initiative?

I believe each of us is born with a purpose—and I’ve discovered that mine is to help, in many ways, especially our planet. The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world due to mass production, synthetic materials, and excessive waste. It generates greenhouse gases, releases microplastics into the oceans with every wash, and pours toxic chemicals into rivers during the dyeing process. These practices also harm communities living near factories. That’s why I created a brand (@_mundanamx_) that not only supports the environment, but also challenges fast fashion trends—so people can enjoy their clothing with consciousness and care.

7.Your femininity shines through in everything you do. What does femininity mean to you, and how do you express it in your work and life?

To me, femininity is a beautiful quality that blends gentleness and intention—it should never be mistaken for fragility. It’s about how we move through the world: with love, empathy, and respect. I treat every person sincerely and selflessly, always from a place of kindness and collaboration. That energy is what allows me to shine, both professionally and personally.

  1. How are you preparing, mentally, physically, and emotionally, for the Miss Europe Continental stage?

It has been a long and deep journey—one that nurtures my mind, body, and spirit. I’m grateful to my fitness and nutrition team (@bignow), who guide me in maintaining a strong and healthy body, helping me become the best version of myself. I also thank my coach, Armando Vignau, who is not only my mentor in meditation, but also a dear friend. With his guidance, I’ve embraced meditation as a vital tool to navigate emotional challenges. Above all, it’s been discipline and consistency that have prepared me to stand confidently on that stage.

  1. If you could showcase one cultural aspect of Mexico to the world, what would it be and why?

I would proudly highlight the legacy of our ancestors—the values and wisdom that gave rise to great Mexican civilizations. Their intelligence, bravery, and ethics were key to their survival and flourishing. Although colonization and modern gentrification have caused us to lose many of those values, I believe they should always be honored and remembered.

  1. If you could send a message to young girls in Mexico who look up to you, what would you say to inspire them?

Putting all clichés aside, I want to tell them: everything is possible if you fight for your dreams and never give up. I am living proof that, even when the road is tough, the reward is worth every step. Keep your faith and your perseverance alive, because dreams are always within reach for those who dare to chase them.

  1. What’s your biggest dream for the future?

I don’t just have dreams—I have clear goals. One of the most important is to become a successful entrepreneur, so I can create foundations that truly support single mothers, children in vulnerable situations, and artists in need of opportunities to fulfill their dreams.

12. Let’s leave a message to your readers

When I was 11 years old, someone shared a quote that changed my life and made me believe I could become anything I dreamed of:

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

I know it may sound hard to grasp, but this phrase speaks of ambition, the courage to dream big, and the beauty of the journey itself. Because remember—the stars are even farther than the moon.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for your support.
