Hello everyone, my name is Andrea Anabel Maldonado Ajila, and I have the honor of representing my beautiful country, Ecuador, the place where I was born and raised. A small country, but with people of a big heart.
I currently live in Germany, which I like to call my second home. Why? Because this country opened its doors to me, welcomed me, and challenged me strongly but it forgot something very important: Ecuadorians are warriors. At the same time, Germany also helped me become the woman I am today.
I work as a Junior Mobile Service Assistant at Auto1 Group, which means my life is always on the move. Sometimes I travel for work, sometimes for pleasure, but always with the same passion: meeting new people, discovering new cultures, and collecting memories that I will carry forever in my heart.
I believe my greatest strength is determination. When I set myself a goal, I put all my energy, effort, and passion into achieving it. That inner drive keeps me growing, standing strong in my dreams, and always finding ways to overcome obstacles or seek solutions.
As for my biggest weakness, I admit that I can sometimes be too much of a perfectionist, focusing on the smallest details and overthinking them. However, I also believe that from that same demand comes my determination, because it motivates me to always give my best and keep improving.
Being part of Miss Europe Continental is a dream I never thought I would live. Today, I especially remember my grandmother’s words: “Only God has the key to our hearts.” He knows how much I longed, as a child, to be part of an event like this. My mother loved to see me participating in school, community, and local events, and those were beautiful, unforgettable moments. Now, I just ask God for perseverance, and that both He and my father (may he rest in peace) stay by my side through this journey.
Beyond a crown, I hope this experience will open doors, connect me with inspiring people, and allow me to take a new step in the world of modeling and fashion. Modeling is my passion and one of my favorite hobbies, along with sports. I also hope to share unforgettable moments with the other contestants and the Miss Europe Continental team, leaving with not only great memories but also valuable lessons.
In the future, I see myself surrounded by the people I love, pursuing new projects, growing in modeling, staying active in sports, and traveling to discover the world.
The moments that shaped me the most were when I was given a second chance at life, and when I left my country, my family, my friends, and everything familiar to start a new life on another continent. The language, culture, and rules were completely different, and while it was very challenging, it gave me the opportunity to discover my own strength and my own light. As my father always told me: “Keep your head high and move forward, we don’t stay down.” Those words still guide me today.
My advice would be: Follow your heart, because when your desire is genuine, the whole world moves to help you achieve it. Never let fear limit you: every step outside your comfort zone is a step toward your best version. Believe in yourself!
