A new adventure for Khwaish Thapa, Miss Europe Continental India

‘’Hello everyone, my name is Khwaish Thapa, and I am proud to represent the beautiful nation of India, a land of diversity, culture, and compassion. I stand here not only as a representative of my country but also as a voice for every young woman who dares to dream fearlessly.

“I am a final-year medical student, deeply passionate about healthcare and human connection. Beyond my studies, I find joy in art, fitness, and exploring different cultures. My best quality is my empathy, I genuinely connect with people’s emotions and stories. My biggest flaw, I would say, is that I often push myself too hard, forgetting to pause and appreciate how far I’ve come. But I’m learning to balance every day.

My biggest inspiration has been my mother. She taught me that strength doesn’t mean never breaking, it means rising again every single time. Her grace in difficult times, her humility despite success, and her selfless nature have shown me that true beauty lies in resilience and kindness.

When I first entered medical school, I saw suffering and healing closely for the first time. Watching a patient recover because of the care and compassion around them changed me. It made me realize that life’s true purpose is to serve, to use your abilities to ease someone else’s pain. That moment defined the kind of woman I aspire to be.

“For me, happiness is peace within, it’s when your heart and mind are aligned with gratitude. It’s in small acts of love, in making someone smile, in doing what you love with purpose. Happiness is not something we chase; it’s something we create through kindness and authenticity.

What is the phrase or quote you will never forget? Why?

“One quote that always stays with me is: ‘She believed she could, so she did.’ It reminds me that belief is the foundation of every achievement. Every time I’ve faced uncertainty, this quote became my quiet reminder that courage begins in the mind.

“Being here at Miss Europe Continental feels surreal and empowering. It’s not just a competition—it’s a celebration of culture, confidence, and global sisterhood. I feel honored to share this stage with incredible women who inspire me to shine brighter and grow stronger.”

“Fashion, to me, is an expression. It’s the language of confidence. It allows us to tell our story without saying a word. Fashion isn’t about wearing the trend—it’s about wearing your truth. When I dress, I don’t just wear clothes, I wear my mood, my strength, and my culture.”

How do you see yourself in ten years?

“In ten years, I see myself as a doctor and humanitarian, using my platform to advocate for mental health and women’s empowerment. I also hope to inspire young women to believe that they can balance beauty, brains, and compassion. I see myself still learning, still giving, and still growing.”

If you could make one wish come true, what would it be?

“If I could make one wish come true, it would be to create a world where every girl is educated, safe, and confident in her voice. Because when you educate a girl, you empower a generation. And that is the most powerful form of change.’’
